I love headbands

I really love to knit headbands. They are a relatively quick knit, now, who doesn't love that?, they offer a great opportunity for stitch experimentation, they look chic and you can knit them with not much yarn so you can use all sorts of exciting and exquisite fibers. Shown above are some of my favorites which I've knit over the years.
The Big Apple Headband design created for Be Sweet has been a hit since last winter and I have just designed a new version also using their divine Handspun Merino yarn with just one simple cable for the cable challenged. I am including the pattern here for all to enjoy. Interested in purchasing the yarn for this project, we have it here at The Ethelridge Road Knitting Salon. Just email us at: knittingsalon.com for a list of all the great colors we have in stock.
